Sara Sharif's father is one of three people charged with her murder

Surrey Police have charged Urfan Sharif, his partner Beinash Batool, and his brother Faisal Malik with the murder of Sara Sharif, a 10-year-old girl. Sara's body was found at her home on 10 August, and a post-mortem examination revealed multiple and extensive injuries. The three adults left the UK for Pakistan on 9 August and were arrested at Gatwick Airport. They have been remanded in custody and are set to appear at Guildford Magistrates' Court later on Friday. Sara's five siblings, aged between one and 13 years old, also travelled to Pakistan with Mr Sharif, Ms Batool, and Mr Malik. The children were found at Mr Sharif's father's home in Pakistan and have since been moved to a government childcare facility.
