Does Taylor Swift diss Canada?

Taylor Swift is currently in the middle of her biggest stadium tour to date, her Eras tour, which includes over 100 concerts until summer 2024 in the US, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia. However, Canadian fans are not quite as enchanted. Swift's Eras tour, which began in March, includes more than 100 concerts until summer 2024, in the US, Mexico, Europe, Asia, and Australia. However, she has no plans to play in Canada. This decision has inspired Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to appeal to Swift personally, asking her to reconsider her plans.

Leila Title, a marketing director from Toronto, expressed her disappointment at Swift's decision to not include Canadian dates with her other international stops. She initially assumed that Swift would include Canadian dates with her other international stops, but when concerts for Mexico and South America were released with nothing planned north of the US border, she started to worry about a glitch. She also hoped to see Swift at one of her New York shows this past May, but was unable to find an affordable ticket. Jackie Engelberg, another Toronto native, had hoped to see Swift at one of her New York shows without any Canadian stops but struggled to find an affordable ticket. She was particularly disappointed to see small cities like Warsaw selected for a three-show run, while Toronto, North America's fourth-largest city, was passed over. Swift has not provided a reason for her decision to skip Canada, and no reason has been provided by Swift or her team. The BBC's request for comment from the BBC has not been responded to.
